We heard & briefly glimpsed a Brambling at Old Fall (the 1st of the winter) and a flock of c20 Redwing came in off the sea, but quickly dispersed. There were good comparisons of Shag & Cormorant, a flock of Wigeon flying north, a Red-throated Diver flying south, and plenty of Goldcrest, which responded to pishing. One of the highlights was the Roe Deer, which nonchalantly appeared through a gap in the hedge close to us & didn't realise we were there for several seconds! The weather conditions were dull, but warm with very little wind. Overall, not a bad day!
